Slow Trucks On Tour

He we are in stinky Clarkston, WA. Last night we played in Spokane, WA and got bumped to the final slot. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise as we over-ran an indie dance night and ended up with a good crowd and sold a grip of merch. We're on our way to Boise, ID after playing Bend, OR and Portland, OR and of course Spokane, WA. Last night after the show, we decided to drive two hours to this stinkiest of towns (some sort of smoky stacks pouring out industrial stench) and pop into our first tour Motel. Hopefully the last.
It's nice to have shower freedom and TV while you're on the road, but it's tough spending a third of what you made that night on accomodations. So what brings us to this smelly town? Well, we decided to forego the freeway and its bland scenery for a longer, more scenic mountain drive. We're about to drive through Payette National Forest, which borders Hells Canyon.
Here's a shot of the Colombia River Gorge as we headed from Portland to Spokane.
Rock On!
