Ebay Item Pack / ship

This is a very fragile item. In this case a collector doll that has a porcelain head. We used 1 inch of bubble and 2 inch solid Styrofoam. We used a 200 lb test box. We added a Styrofoam cap and cut down the box for this shipment.

Ebay and other shipments its important to pack your fragile and valuable shipment to meet UPS and Fedex insurance guidelines.

Items in the shipping stream may be stacked and dropped and handled roughly. Much of the transit is on conveyor belts and full simi trucks.

How an item is packed is crucial for it to be insurable. Even if you pay for insurance and the carrier mishandles your delicate item and its damaged they may deny the claim if the item is not packed to meet the insurance guidelines.
